Note: the driver can also operate in test mode without a observatory driver’s card physically
connected to the PC. To turn on the Test mode of the dome set a steering card’s type to NoCard
in the "Select Io Card” in the Program tab in the Program Flow panel.
This mode is useful when you try to become familiar with the operations of the driver. We
recommend it also for programmers using scripts, which enable automated operations of the
observatory or during testing the program with other software controlling the observatory through
the ASCOM platform, such as ACP, CCD Pilot, etc.
