This option is designed to set the dome in the best position in relation to the strong wind. This
command synchronizes the dome’s position with the wind direction measured by a weather
station. When the Shutter Weather Protect function is enabled it starts automatically if the wind
speed exceeds the value set in the Hi Wind box, and simultanously the dome is in Stop mode.
During the observation the dome usually works in Sync With Scope mode, so there is no risk of
automatic turning on this function and the change the dome’s azimuth, even if the wind exceeds
the permissed value.
