A unique ScopeDome USB Card card’s feature is ability to control the equipment’s powering
inside the observatory. The ScopeDome Dome Driver can turn on and off the power supply (230V
AC) of devices installed in the observatory through relays included on the card.
There are switches placed on the driver’s card where the power supplies of the telescope, CCD
camera, lighting and ventilation should be connected. Power control icons are placed in the Dome
Position panel below the dome’s azimuth counter. Power on (or turning on the relay) the system
is signaled by a change in color of the icon corresponding to the selected device.
Obviously you can connect to switches completely different devices than suggested by us and to
control their powering via the computer.
