1. Run ScopeDome USB Driver program from the Start menu
2. Press the Config button
3. Enter the coordinates of your observatory on the Dome Site Info panel
4. Press the button Select
Scope on the Telescope tab. The ASCOM Telescope
Chooser will start - choose the appropriate driver for your telescope and set
the necessary parameters (COM port, etc.)
Note: If you control the telescope using TheSky6, set the Select Scope and
Park Sensor boxes into the value "TheSky6"
5. Enter the data about the dome’s geometry and the telescope mount’s

6. Press the Calibrate button on the Dome Mechanics
panel tab and follow the
instructions on the screen. For more information about calibration, please
visit: Dome Calibration
7. Enter the value of the angle formed between the north and the Home position
sensor on the Sensor Position panel. You can see how to set
the angle of the
Home Position sensor using the Set button here: Set Home Position Sensor
8. Enter the name of devices connected to the controller on the Relays panel /
the Relays Name tab
9. Select the weather station’s type and the sensor monitoring the cloudiness
over the observatory
10. Set the card’s type into ScopeDomeUSB Card on the Program
tab on
Program Flow panel on Select Io Card box.
Note: This program may work in test mode - without the driver’s card
physically connected. This mode is useful to familiarize with the program or
during scripts test written to automate the dome’s work. To turn on the Test
mode set the card’s type into NoCard on the Program tab on the Program
Flow panel on the "Select Io Card box.
Note: All the basic configuration parameters can be restored by pressing the
Restore Default button by single click.
