1. Download and install . Net Framework 3.5 from Microsoft. NET Framework 3.5
2. Download and install package ASCOM Platform 5
from www.ascom-standards.org
3. Select and install the appropriate driver for your telescope from the Drivers menu
on the www.ascom-standards.org
4. Download the driver file ScopeDome USB Driver and install it
5. Select folder ScopeDomeUSB Dome Driver from the Start menu and run the CDM
2.04.06 from the Install tab. It installs a virtual COM port needed to handle the
ScopeDomeUSB card.
If the installation was successful the program ScopeDome USB Driver will
automatically start up and register as the dome’s driver on the ASCOM platform.
The shortcut to the ScopeDome USB Driver program will be added in the Start menu.
Note: If you work under Windows XP, set the decimal comma on the dot in Control
Panel in Regional and Language options. ASCOM platform version 5.0a requires it,
maybe in later versions this error will be corrected.
