1. Can ScopeDome Card USB Card work with other types of domes, even with those
not produced by ScopeDome?
- Yes, thanks to a very wide configuration capabilities and universal driving the dome, the
card and its driver can used with other types of astronomical observatories, including
RollOffRoof stations.
2. Is ScopeDome driver is compatible with the ASCOM standard?
- Yes.
3. Does the dome close automatically in the case of AC power failure?
- Unfortunately in the current version of your USB ScopeDome Card this action can not
be executed, but we have already started testing the extension, which support this
operation.
4. Does the dome close automatically when it starts raining?
- ScopeDome USB Card does not have built-in rain sensor so it is not available function.
However, in combination with external clouds and rain sensor (eg, Boltwood Cloud
Sensor) it is possible and driver suppoorts this feature.
5. What voltage engines are powered in ScopeDome USB Card?
- Our card can control any motors through its appropriate Relay Boxes system. We install
standard AC 230V engines.
